West Virginia is every bit the Mountain State its nickname says. It is our only state located entirely in Appalachia. There are many small villages and towns tucked away in those beautiful hills and mountains. West Virginians are patriotic and proud. They have an outstanding voting record in national elections, and they've served our country in war and peace.
